Concert at Charlton Church

We raised £711.60 for Demelza Hospice Care for Children at a brilliant evening with Outreach Gospel Choir. Songs from WW1, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Wizard of Oz and folksongs, with numerous solos from members of the choir of all ages. Well done all!

Canterbury Cathedral Concert 9th June 2018

What an amazing experience for our young singers! They gave a fantastic performance of Blue Mountain River in a programme which also included the world famous Canterbury Cathedral Choir and Lemn Sissay, Canterbury's poet laureate.

Concert with Kent College Choristers 20th May 2018

We had a lovely concert in Barham Church with the nationally renowned Kent College Choristers (recently seen on BBC TV!) We sang Shto mi e milo, Blue Mountain River & Songs from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. We then joined the Choristers for Soldier, soldier and We go together from the musical Grease. The church was packed and we raised £474 for Catching Lives.

Summer Workshops 2017

We had some really enthusiastic singers at our 2 Summer Workshops, ranging in age from 5-14 years. It was great to have the opportunity to help our singers to improve their vocal technique and to see what progress they made in a very short time. We had lots of fun too and prizes for the competition winners!

Rotary Club Pentangular Event

150 Rotarians from all over Europe were entertained in style by our wonderful singers. As the visitors were having lunch in Christchurch Refectory they were surprised by the unexpected appearance of Elham Valley Voices singing songs from Mary Poppins, Whistle Down the Wind and Les Miserables. The children received an overwhelming reception from the audience. Another great experience! 

Performance at the Marlowe Theatre

As winners of Top Choir Kent 2017, we were guest singers at the Big Sing in the Marlowe Theatre on 18th April 2017. This was an amazing experience for our young singers and they performed with great confidence and professionalism. Well done all!

We are delighted to announce that Elham Valley Voices were awarded 1st place in Top Choir Kent at the Shirley Hall, Canterbury on Saturday 8th April. The 23 children aged 5-13 performed superbly, singing a medley of songs from Mary Poppins, 'No matter what' from Whistle Down the Wind and 'Little People' from Les Miserables. They will now be performing at the Marlowe Theatre on 18th April
