Director Jackie Spencer GRSM (Hons), LRAM is an experienced choir trainer and conductor, a first class pianist and a distinguished teacher of voice and piano.

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, where her principal study was piano, she began her career as a private piano teacher.                                       Her pupils achieved much success in local music festivals and ABRSM examinations.

Her knowledge of voice training comes initially from singing in, and later from directing, church and
school choirs.
Her reputation as a first class trainer of young voices is reflected in the achievements of the various choirs under her direction.

Jackie has been Director of Music at Kent College Junior School for fourteen years, also teaching in the senior school.
As well as choirs, she has directed the Junior School Orchestra and has been running the Kent College Outreach Programme.
The Outreach work has led to some exciting large-scale concerts
for charity, with choirs of 250 young people, in both Canterbury Cathedral and the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury.
